In response to the industries need for a tailored and responsive group training scheme Plumbing Industry Association Group Training was formed in 2006 as part of the Plumbing Industry Association of SA. As a not-for-profit organisation, we aim to offer the best arrangements possible for both PIA Members and Non-Members to host an Apprentice.

Providing services to potential Host Employers and potential Apprentices, we consider the requirements for both parties to ensure a suited and long-lasting partnership.

Apprenticeships Plumbing & Gas fitting Air conditioning & Refrigeration Pre- requisites: An Ideal Candidate will: • Have Completed year 11 at high school, including Maths and English • Have researched and undertaken work experience in plumbing or construction • Be prepared to undertake pre-apprenticeship training • Be fit and physically robust • Be keen to work outdoors • Have an aptitude for problem solving • Have excellent inter-personal skills • Take pride in working accurately and neatly • Take every opportunity to learn the trade How to apply: Download the application from a Plumbing Apprentice from our website and submit with your resume and cover letter via email.

Registered Training Organisation

About your Organisation

Master Plumbers Association of South Australia Inc is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO ID: 40070), currently providing VET in Schools Training for secondary school students as an industry pathway. We are proud to offer two VET in Schools Programs for secondary school students who are looking at following a career path into the plumbing, building or construction industry. We current offer the CPC10111 Certificate I in Construction (This is a full qualification, which is delivered with a plumbing focus), as well as the D2C Plumbing Plus (This is a partial qualification (13 units) of the CPC32612 Certificate III in Roof Plumbing). Undertaking a VET in Schools Program allows students to study a trade and prepare for the workforce while they are undertaking secondary school. As the industry association, it is extremely important for us to ensure the quality of future plumbers and construction workers.
