The Certificate II in Plumbing Pre-Apprenticeship course will equip you with skills and knowledge to enter the plumbing or building industries. The introductory plumbing course covers relevant material, equipment, and occupational health and safety procedures to ensure you work safely and effectively on building sites.
This course provides an excellent introduction to the industry and is specifically designed to enhance your building or plumbing apprenticeship prospects. This is a full-time, 15 week course with 32 hours of attendance required each week.
Intakes are generally in February and August each year.
Certificate II graduates will need to be indentured by an employer before they continue their training as an apprentice
Applicants are expected to have language, literacy, numeracy and communication skills to at least Year 10 level. (Note: If you cannot read and write documents and complete maths work to the level required you may be accepted to the course, but you may be enrolled in additional subjects to help you build the skills needed to successfully complete the program).
