Pre-apprenticeship Description

Learn the basics of electrical theory and maths, and gain practical skills to help you find work in the electrical, security systems or refrigeration and air conditioning trades. You will be trained on how to interpret electrical drawings, operate safely in an electrical workshop and gain skills in identifying, selecting and using equipment in an electrotechnology environment. You will also learn how to interact with clients and deliver a quality service.

Eligibility Requirements

You must have a strong desire to work as an apprentice within the electrical, refrigeration/air-conditioning and data communications/security systems industries. Year 11 literacy and numeracy level is preferred.
