Pre-apprenticeship Description

This course aims to prepare you for an apprenticeship in the Electrotechnology industry. It involves subjects aimed at increasing your overall employability. Electrical theory, mathematics and general practical skills are taught within the course, along with how to interpret electrical drawings. Electrical safety plays a major part within the course. The course gives you the basic skills to make you job ready from day one on the job. You will gain a good appreciation of the basic tools and equipment an electrician uses on the job. Included in the course and at no extra cost is: • Level 2 First Aid • Construction Induction Card • Your own copy of AS/NZS 3000:2007 - Wiring Rules incorporating amendments 1 and 2
