Pre-apprenticeship Description

This pre-apprenticeship program will give you the hands on skills and basic mechanical knowledge which will help you to find an automotive apprenticeship. It will help to make you job ready, and will give you the opportunity to pursue a career in automotive mechanics, engine reconditioning, automotive electrician and electronics, and vehicle body repair. Some of the things you will learn will include: remove and replace engine assembly, dismantle and assemble engine, dismantle and assemble transmission - manual (transaxle), operate electrical test equipment, remove and replace steering assembly, remove and replace suspension - front springs.

Eligibility Requirements

You will need to have completed Year 10, or equivalent and attend an interview.
