Certificate II in Automotive Servicing Technology

Pre-apprenticeship Description

The Certificate II in Automotive Servicing Technology is designed to provide you with the necessary basic skills to assist in gaining an automotive apprenticeship. You will learn how to apply safe work, environmental and sustainability practices in an automotive workplace. This course covers the use of workplace tools and equipment, servicing and inspection of engines, transmissions, cooling, fuel, steering, suspension and braking systems. You will also learn how to identify automotive faults. During your studies you will learn and apply effective workplace communication and customer relations skills.

Eligibility Requirements

Completion of Year 10 or equivalent is recommended.
