Pre-apprenticeship Description

If you know your future lies in the construction industry and you just can’t wait to get started on your career, this school-based Certificate is the perfect study option for you. On this pathway program, you’ll learn how to use basic tools and equipment and get hands-on training in essential construction techniques. Designed as a pre-apprenticeship study option, this course will get you ‘job-ready’ for a career in construction.

Eligibility Requirements

Students should contact their School Careers Officer. To enrol, students should be 15 years of age at the commencement of the course. Students must be in Year 10, 11 or 12. Admission may be on the basis of maturity and other relevant work experience.
