  • Prepare, cut and sew custom-made shoe components
  • Assemble and finish custom-made shoe
  • Fit custom-made footwear

  • Coordinate or set up machines for product change
  • Participate in product engineering
  • Contribute to the development of products or processes
  • Coordinate quality system and procedures
  • Select and adjust prefabricated footwear-related orthoses
  • Conduct medical grade footwear assessments for clients with footwear-related medical conditions
  • Modify medical grade footwear
  • Select and adjust prefabricated medical grade footwear and accessories
  • Organise and plan own work to achieve planned outcomes
  • Estimate and cost a job
  • Apply foot anatomy principles to footwear production
  • Cut printed materials by machine
  • Perform moulding operations
  • Operate machine to sew upper
  • Machine upper according to product requirements
  • Operate computing technology in a TCF workplace
