Chef de Partie (Large Japanese Restaurant)

Chefs de Partie are also known as Line Cooks or Station Chefs in charge of particular areas of kitchen production in large Japanese restaurants. In this role you would undertake a supervisory or team leading role.

  • Coordinate cooking operations

  • Manage finances within a budget
  • Use hygienic practices for food safety
  • Participate in safe food handling practices
  • Coach others in job skills
  • Lead and manage people
  • Maintain the quality of perishable items
  • Monitor work operations
  • Implement and monitor work health and safety practices
