Systems Operations Technician

Working as a Systems Operations Technician in the electricity supply industry, you will carry out planned and corrective maintenance on electrical generation systems and equipment. You will test systems for efficiency and output and assist with planning and scheduling of work activities.

  • Develop H.V. switching programs
  • Plan a scheduled outage

  • Compile and produce an energy sector detailed report

  • Carry out operational checks on in-service electrical plant

  • Facilitate the use of contingency plans for power generation facilities
  • Facilitate workplace communication

  • Operate H.V. condition changing apparatus
