Engineering Associate - Mechanical Maintenance

Employees may work in a variety of para-professional engineering fields as a mechanical engineering associate. The work can cover application of knowledge and skills in mechanical engineering maintenance to interpret technical data; undertaking technical calculations relevant to mechanical equipment and structures; supporting the design of equipment and machinery including selection and specification of materials; preparation of operating procedures; and otherwise acting as a resource to tradespersons, operators and technicians. They often work under the direction of a professional engineer.
