Advanced Mechanical Engineering Tradesperson

Working as an Advanced Mechanical Engineering Tradesperson you will apply advanced engineering skills and techniques to maintain, fault find, repair and modify a wide range of mechanical plant and equipment. Sophisticated preventative maintenance techniques are used to minimise breakdowns, including conditioning monitoring and statistical analysis.

  • Dismantle, replace and assemble engineering components
  • Perform precision mechanical measurement
  • Shut down and isolate machines/equipment
  • Undertake commissioning procedures for plant and/or equipment
  • Perform equipment condition monitoring and recording
  • Analyse plant and equipment condition monitoring results
  • Modify mechanical systems and equipment
  • Maintain pneumatic systems
