Youth Justice Worker

Working as a Youth Justice Worker you will provide intensive support for young people and prepare them for reintegration into the community. You will provide opportunities to address their offending behaviour and connect them with family, education and employment.

  • Store, protect and dispose of security information
  • Work effectively with culturally diverse offenders and colleagues
  • Maintain the safety and welfare of offenders in short-term incarceration
  • Supervise attendance at court
  • Manage conflict through negotiation
  • Manage first aid services and resources
