Working as a Project Manager in the construction industry you are responsible for the planning and managing of specific building projects. You will interpret plans and provide cost and quantities of materials needed, provide regular reporting including progress and variations, manage client expectations, industrial relations and ensure building regulations, standards and by-laws are enforced.

  • Administer the legal obligations of a building or construction contractor
  • Manage building and construction business finances
  • Manage quality customer service
  • Lead and manage effective workplace relationships
  • Manage project quality
  • Supervise and apply quality standards to the selection of building and construction materials
  • Develop professional technical and legal reports on building and construction projects
  • Apply structural principles to the construction of buildings up to 3 storeys
  • Produce digital 3-D models of building designs
