Childhood Education Manager

Childhood Education Managers are responsible for the design and implementation of curriculum in early childhood education and care services in a child care centre. You would also responsible for planning, implementing and managing programs and the supervision of other staff and volunteers.

  • Foster the holistic development and wellbeing of the child in early childhood
  • Nurture creativity in children
  • Facilitate compliance in an education and care services
  • Establish and implement plans for developing cooperative behaviour
  • Implement strategies for the inclusion of all children
  • Promote children’s agency
  • Analyse information to inform learning
  • Design and implement the curriculum to foster children's learning and development
  • Embed sustainable practices in service operations
  • Work in partnership with families to provide appropriate education and care for children
  • Identify and respond to children and young people at risk
  • Provide an emergency first aid response in an education and care setting
  • Work effectively with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people
  • Maintain work health and safety
  • Develop teams and individuals
  • Provide mentoring support to colleagues
  • Foster the holistic development and wellbeing of the child in school age care
  • Work effectively with culturally diverse clients and co-workers
  • Manage diversity
