BHP celebrates the first 60 apprentices to graduate from Pilbara Rail Academy
Sixty new train drivers are poised to graduate from BHP’s Pilbara Rail Academy Traineeship Program, created last year to meet the growing skills shortage in Western Australia.
BHP has committed $20 million to the academy program, which aims to employ and train 200 new train drivers over three years. The first apprentices were welcomed into the academy in August last year, and are set to become the first round of graduates!
