International Women’s Day (March 8) is a global celebration of the historical, cultural, and political achievements of women. The day also serves to promote gender equality worldwide and fundraise for female-focused charities.
This year’s theme #BreakTheBias is a collective call to action that together, we can forge women’s equality.
International Women’s Day has occurred for over a century and today belongs to all groups, everywhere. It is not country, group, or organisation specific.
