Employer Information Needs - Preliminary Research

The preliminary results of our work examining the important things that employers need to know before taking on an apprentice.

The Australian Apprenticeships and Traineeships Information Service’s (AATIS) role in working with employers is the provision of accurate and unbiased information. AATIS communicates with employers about the Australian Apprenticeships system, including the promotion of apprenticeships and traineeships as a method of hiring staff. AATIS also refers employers to the service provider networks who support the recruitment, sign up, training and ongoing management of Australian Apprentices.

This research project examines the question: What information do employers need before taking on an Australian Apprentice?

Preliminary results from the project are presented in this report, and along with the next steps of this research project.

NOTE: This project was halted due to Covid-19.
