VOCSTATS is specifically targeted at those users who have a requirement for highly tailored outputs, have a good understanding of the intricacies and limitations of the NCVER collections, and are willing to design and generate their statistical outputs directly. You must register for VOCSTATS access.

Focus on: Completion rates

Focus on: Completion rates

Half of all apprentices and trainees who commenced in 2013 completed their training. This was lower for trade apprentices, with only 47% completing.

Some industries with high completion rates include: Engineering, ICT and science technicians; Clerical and administrative workers; and Machinery operators and drivers.

Individual completion rates were higher than contract completion rates. This means that some apprentices and trainees cancelled their contract but went on to complete their apprenticeship or traineeship.
