Anyone who has worked on a website development project knows the joys of setting a big picture agenda that requires a fine attention to detail to bring it to fruition.
And so it has been with a mix of vision and pedantry that the team at the Australian Apprenticeships and Traineeships Information Service (AATIS) has poured a huge amount of time and effort into getting to this day.
The redeveloped Australian Apprenticeships Pathways site will progressively ‘go live’ this week, delivering a great new design that performs well across all platforms.
Visitors can select their interest group which allows AATIS to provide information relevant to their them.
Pathways Interest Groups
- Job Hunters
- Industry Insiders
This approach has allowed AATIS to ‘retire’ the AAT Information website by integrating it into the ‘Industry Insider’ group.
The ‘Insider’ group allows visitors to use a more detailed approach to information, including the option of searching by training package titles and qualification codes. This group is also full of the resources that for many years have supported people involved with talking about or promoting apprenticeships and traineeships, including Practice Aptitude Quizzes.
Industry Insiders will have access to a new listing of key website resources, the ‘Bag of Tricks’, a title decided on at the end of a very long week of website development.
This project is funded by the Australian Government Department of Education and Training.
