Qualifications Summary

TAE40110 - Certificate IV in Training and Assessment

This qualification reflects the roles of individuals delivering training and assessment services in the vocational education and training (VET) sector. Achievement of this qualification or an equivalent by trainers and assessors is a requirement of the Australian Quality Training Framework Essential Standards for Registration.
This qualification, or the skill sets derived from units of competency within it, is also suitable preparation for those engaged in the delivery of training and assessment of competence in a workplace context, as a component of a structured VET program.

TAE40116 - Certificate IV Training and Assessment

This qualification reflects the roles of individuals delivering training and assessment services in the vocational education and training (VET) sector. It is also suitable preparation for those engaged in the delivery of training and assessment of competence in a workplace context, as a component of a structured VET program.
Note - the volume of learning of a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is typically is typically six months to two years.

TAE50216 - Diploma of Training Design and Development

A suitable qualification for training developers and instructional designers who are responsible for analysing training needs and designing training solutions and products to meet workplace capability requirements, and evaluating the effectiveness of training programs. They may have a role in providing guidance and advice to trainers and assessors and promoting innovative practices.
Note - the volume of learning of a Diploma of Training Design and Development is typically one to two years.
