The National Water Industry Training Package NWP (release 1) includes seven qualifications and 10 skill sets.

Use the My Skills site to search for Registered Training Organisations registered to deliver courses. Each State and Territory separately approves Registered Training Organisations to deliver apprenticeships and traineeships in their jurisdiction.

Qualifications Summary

NWP20115 - Certificate II in Water Industry Operations

Suitable training for water industry operations or specialisation in networks, source, irrigation or treatment.

NWP30215 - Certificate III in Water Industry Operations

Suitable training for general work in water industry operations or specialisation in networks, source, irrigation or treatment.

NWP30315 - Certificate III in Water Industry Treatment

This is a general qualification in water industry treatment or specialisation in drinking water or wastewater.

NWP30415 - Certificate III in Water Industry Irrigation

A general irrigation qualification within water industry operations that covers the skills needed to measure, regulate, plan and deliver water from channels, pipelines or streams for irrigation and/or stock and domestic purposes.

NWP40515 - Certificate IV in Water Industry Operations

 This qualification covers general training in water industry operations or specialisation in networks, source, hydrography, irrigation or trade waste.

NWP40615 - Certificate IV in Water Industry Treatment

This qualification is suitable for general work in water industry treatment or specialisation in drinking water or wastewater.

NWP50715 - Diploma of Water Industry Operations

This qualification allows for the attainment of general competencies in water industry operations or specialisation in hydrography, irrigation or trade waste.
