The NT Occupational Shortage Employer Incentive Scheme provides financial incentives for NT businesses that employ apprentices or trainees.

The Employer Support Scheme also provides grants for employing apprentices and trainees.

The NT Disadvantaged Groups Employer Incentive Scheme provides grants to employ an apprentices or trainees from a disadvantaged group.

The Industry Buildskills Program provides for funding to upskill or reskill employees

The Aboriginal Apprenticeship Program works to improve retention and completion rates for Aboriginal apprentices and trainees.

Through Regions SA, the Department of Primary Industries and Regions SA (PIRSA) manages several ongoing programs to assist regional South Australian businesses and communities.

The Jobs Victoria Employment Network supports disadvantaged jobseekers who are not well-serviced by Commonwealth programs.

The Major Projects Skills Guarantee requires the use of local apprentices, trainees or engineering cadets for at least 10 per cent of the total estimated labour hours for all publicly funded works contracts valued at or over $20 million.

The Local Industry Fund for Transition (LIFT) program supports investment by businesses located, or wishing to locate, operations in areas affected by the closure of car manufacturing in the State.

The Future Industries Fund supports projects that align with future industries sector strategies.

The Regional Jobs Fund (RJF) facilitates job creation and investment in regional Victoria.

The Agriculture Infrastructure and Jobs Fund (AIJF) supports Victorian farmers to improve farm productivity, maintain market access and grow exports and jobs.

The Wine Growth Fund supports initiatives to develop the Victorian wine industry.

The Automotive Transition Plan has a range of programs supporting the transition of Victoria’s car manufacturing workforce, including job placement support and apprenticeship incentives.

The Workforce Training Innovation Fund provides grant funding to develop and deliver innovative strategies for improving training outcomes and the relevance of training to industry.
