This site provides information and resources about Apprenticeships and Traineeships. This includes over 3,000 job and training descriptions (click on the "Search" menu item) and nearly 60 job pathway charts (see the "Careers Resources" menu item).

General job hunting advice is held in the "Self Help" menu. Links to related websites and resources are contained in the "Information & Links" and "Workplace Guides" menus.

  • NEW Australian Apprenticeships - Service Provider Search Resource

    A new feature – Service Provider Search – has been launched on the AAT Information websites.

    This resource is a central point facilitating searches for service providers active in Australian Apprenticeships.

    Any service provider with an interest in promoting their Australian Apprenticeships related activities on this free service can create an account to post general information about their services and key contact points.

    For the public, schools and staff in provider networks website search options will be based on types of service provider networks and location.

    The resource will build service provider content over time, although all Australian Apprenticeships Centres and most Group Training Organisation are already listed.

  • NEW Australian Apprenticeships Centre Search Information

    The Australian Apprenticeships Centre Search menu has been replaced by the Service Provider Search tool.

    To locate AAC details go to the SPS and select Australian Apprenticeships Centres in the service provider type area.

    AAC information can also be found in the ‘Search by Provider Type’ menu.

    The ‘Self Help’ menu item on this website has been updated.


    This area covers essential information about apprenticeships and traineeships along with some practical information about job hunting.

    The resource aims to help prompt jobseekers and students to "self help" when researching potential Australian Apprenticeships directions.

    The poster is ideal for display at job expos and in client contact areas of offices and schools.  It can be printed as a small A3 size poster or in A4 as a resource for populating information kits.
